Fun With Photoshop: If Stars Took Steroids!
She’s seen her career make giant strides over the past twelve months, and Elizabeth Olsen was chosen to cover the March 2012 issue of ASOS magazine. The 22-year-old actress posed for a delightfully artsy Todd Cole shot spread located in Brooklyn Botanic Garden while speaking with the publication about misconceived thoughts about her upbringing, openness to mainstream movies, and famous siblings, Mary-Kate and Ashley . Highlights from Miss Olsen’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to check out ASOS ! On the special year she’s experienced: “It’s been a whole year of firsts for everything. It’s weird to look back on, but as it was all happening, it didn’t feel like I was being put under the microscope. But it’s so cool, [Sundance] suddenly puts you in a certain category with other actors, who you have always thought, ‘Oh, I wish I could have done that part.’ That’s a whole new thing. I loved ‘An Education,’ or even Maggie Gyllenhaal in ‘Secretary’. Those were movies that helped give an actor leeway into the world.” On people’s misconstrued ideas about her childhood: “People have a weird idea of my upbringing… I did lead a very charmed life growing up, but I was aware of the things that were abnormal. The only time I flew first-class as a kid was when my sisters did these cruises called ‘Sail With The Stars’. They were the main event, so the company would fly us first-class. Other than that, never.” On if she can see herself doing something more mainstream: “I would love to. I’m not trying to be different! I’d just rather do roles that are interesting to me. That will probably change when I have kids and a mortgage. But I had a teacher once, who is an actress, and she said, ‘You can hate me or love me, as long as you have an opinion’ and I think that’s great/ Who wants to have their work just be passive or safe?” On if she spends a lot of time with her sisters: “Between their schedules and mine, it’s not like we have tons of time to hang out. But when we do, it’s so much fun. Swinging through the south of the border locale to do a little promotional work, Vanessa Hudgens joined Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne Johnson in Mexico City, Mexico on Friday (january 27). The good looking trio posed for pictures, offering solo takes and group ops during the session which preceded a scheduled press conference so that Vanessa, Josh and Dwayne could present their upcoming motion picture “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”. Hitting theaters on February 10th, the action/adventure flick was directed by Brad Peyton while also starring Luis Guzman, Michael Caine and Kristin Davis. Bringing an end to another eventful week with a long overseas flight, Justin Bieber was spotted readying for departure from Los Angeles International Airport on Friday (January 27). The 17-year-old Canadian sensation sported a Steelers ballcap, jean jacket and grey sweats as he and a travel companion worked through the International terminal to board the outbound aircraft. As for his destination, Bieber is bound for the City of Lights, as he clued everyone in via Twitter by writing, “Anyone wanna fly to France?” The travels come a day after Justin performed “Rockin’ Robin” at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre during a hand and footprint ceremony in honor of late pop superstar Michael Jackson . Back in Tinseltown after a family trip to Dallas, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were side-by-side for a midday lunch date in Beverly Hills on Friday (January 27). The E! reality sisters were both looking chic as they paid a visit to a friend’s house for a bite to eat before departing the ritzy residence and heading their separate ways. The sighting comes as Kim and Kourtney are gearing up for this weekend’s airing of the season two finale of their reality spinoff “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.” In a recently released preview, Kim can be seen opening up to Kourtney and her beau Scott Disick, as the reality TV starlet tells, “I had dinner with him last night one-on-one and I was going crazy. I had nothing to talk about,” explaining, “He’s a good heart. He’s a Christian. He’s everything on paper exactly what I want in someone, but for some reason, my heart isn’t connecting.” Sobbing, the 31-year-old brunette beauty goes on, “You think I feel good that I met this guy from Minnesota… I feel awful that I like, made him move out here and change his whole life. She’s one of the biggest pop icons of all time, and Madonna plans to continue her reign as the queen of music as she readies the release of her latest record “M.D.N.A.” Fans have been chomping at the bit after getting a listen of two tracks from the Material Girl’s new album,”Gimme All Your Luvin” and “Masterpiece.” While “Gimme” features Madonna’s token upbeat tempo, Madge described “Masterpiece” as much different and “more reflective.” Additionally, the singer explained, “I think the majority of the record is more action-packed.
