Welcome to the world, Blue Ivy Carter. Granted, the first offspring of mega couple Beyonce and Jay-Z arrived on January 8, but her first photos only surfaced online today, courtesy of? the rapper’s blog, Life + Times . Look at happy mother and adorable daughter below: At first, of course, there was a question over what the baby’s name actually was, but Beyonce and Jay-Z have most definitely made it very clear: they’ve already moved to trademark the moniker Blue Ivy. A tad pretentious? Sure. But how can we find any fault in something really to someone so cute?!? Just look at the tyke again:

The preggers former “Laguna Beach” cutie looked lovely in a long maxi dress as she carried a one liter bottle of Fiji water to ensure proper hydration. Knocking out a media appearance, Khloe Kardashian was spotted at PIX 11 Morning News in New York City this morning (February 10). The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” cutie looked leggy in a pair of black leather thigh-high boots and a short white sweater dress as she pushed past shutterbugs to do her interview. Khloe recently revealed that she had a hard time with all of the erroneous pregnancy reports as of late, and said she’s glad they haven’t conceived just yet. “It’s frustrating when you hear so many rumours because it makes you almost want to put pressure on yourself. But looking back, I think everything happens for a reason.” “I think, ‘Gosh, what if I did get pregnant last season or a few months ago? The sexy singer and American Idol judge strikes a daring pose — in the buff — for her new fragrance ( her 18th! ), Glowing. “Glowing is such a clean fragrance,” she tells WWD of the scent, a follow-up to her first fragrance, Glow. “That’s what I’ve always been about. I like soapy, clean smells. This is a very woodsy scent. So it’s not exactly what I created 10 years ago — it’s the evolution of that.” Describing Glowing as “earthy, clean and real,” Lopez says the fragrance is “kind of New York-y, darker and sexier.” It contains notes of cypress, orange flower, cassia flower, vanilla and cashmere musk, and as a special treat, the eau de parfum bottles light up for 15 seconds when spritzed. “We’re in the history making business, baby,” Lopez says, laughing. Jokes aside, Lopez hopes that this is another fragrance that will last. “I always feel pressure to create a great fragrance — I always want it to be so special, this one especially because of Glow. Marla Sokoloff Welcomes Baby Girl

It’s an exciting time in Marla Sokoloff’s life as she gave birth to her baby girl this past Wednesday (February 8). The “Chateau Meroux” starlet named her bundle of joy Elliotte Anne, and husband Alec Puro is an uber-proud papa. Gushing over her 7-pound baby, Marla told press, “Mom, dad and baby are happy as can be and completely in love with each other.” Prior to giving birth, Sokoloff blogged, “Yes, there were weeks that seemed endless and yes, I’m currently complaining about my feet swelling up like balloons and the general discomfort that comes with the end of pregnancy — but all in all the journey has been one that I will never forget.” Photo Credit: Getty Images

She’s always up for a public appearance, and last night (February 8), Kristin Cavallari was in the house for the Los Angeles premiere of “This Means War.” The former “Laguna Beach” babe was more than happy to show off her tiny baby bump as she posed for the paparazzi outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. And of course Kristin was dressed to kill, sporting a leggy red long-sleeved minidress teamed with a beige clutch and a pulled-back hairdo. Halle Berry: Eyeing a Move to France with Olivier Martinez

She’s looking for a change of scenery, and Halle Berry is hoping to move to France where she’ll live with her boyfriend Olivier Martinez . The only problem is that she wants to take her daughter Nahla with her, and Berry’s ex-boyfriend/babydaddy Gabriel Aubry is doing everything he can to prevent it. According to a report from TMZ , the “Monster’s Ball” babe has filed papers with the court and a hearing is pending, but it won’t be easy to get the judge to allow her to take her daughter to another country. Gabriel claims Halle is trying to prevent him from seeing their girl, while Berry says living in France will be safer for everyone.Photo Credit: INF Daily

Beyonce, Jay-Z Move to Trademark "Blue Ivy"

She’s already a mogul, this one. Blue Ivy , Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby’s name, may soon be trademarked as well. It does have instant brand recognition, and her business-savvy folks are all over that. Blue Ivy Carter’s parents filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office protecting the little girl’s name for possible use on a future line of baby goods. Why the rush? There was no time to waste, apparently. Two Blue Ivy wannabe entrepreneurs already had applications shot down, and no matter how many White House visits Bey and Jay had enjoyed, they’d still have to go through the office’s first-come, first-served process like everyone else. However, a surge in applications is usual when a new name or phrase explodes into the lexicon, and because it’s the office’s job to sort things out, they try to anticipate trends, subsequently fast-tracking applications inspired by names in the news. Still, one Blue Ivy earned the trademark before Beyonce was even pregnant: The Blue Ivy clothing store in Wisconsin got unknowingly lucky in early 2011.
