Bringing her punk rocker ways to the Land Down Under, Avril Lavigne showed off a sexy side for the cover of the March 2012 issue of FHM Australia . The 27-year-old Canadian posed in a hot purple Abbey Dawn dress for the Kenneth Cappello shot front page while talking about everything from her athletic prowess to her tour bus culinary skills. On why her clothing line is named Abbey Dawn: “Because I’m Abbey Dawn: it was my nickname when I was growing up and it was the first alias I used when I didn’t want people to know which hotel I was staying at.” On the best party she’s ever had: “It was a girly holiday in St. Tropez. I have my French passport and a lot of French friends and family, so last summer my friends and I went. It was the ultimate fun riot.” On her cooking specialty went on tour: “I make a lot of salads with homemade salad dressing and I can do some good vegan soups, but to be honest I can make anything. I can make Italian.” On her athletic talent: “I have always been very athletic. Nowadays, I love to skateboard, rollerblade, play hockey, work out and do yoga. But when I was growing up in Canada I used to play softball in the summer, ice hockey in the winter and do track and field all year. Amanda Knox, the American college student who spent nearly four years in an Italian jail for murder, only to have her conviction overturned, is read to tell her story. And be paid handsomely for it. The international drama that unfolded on TV and in newspapers is now about to be told from the inside, in a subjective and profitable account, by Amanda Knox herself. Knox, who was freed last fall after her conviction in the murder of Meredith Kercher was thrown out, has sold her book to HarperCollins for what is said to be $4 million. “It is a story everyone else seems to have told except for the person at the center of it all,” Jonathan Burnham, the publisher of HarperCollins, told The N.Y. Times . “There has been plenty of rumor and conjecture about her, the role she played in events, and speculation about what happened. This book will tell the full story from her point of view for the very first time, and it will be told in her own words.” Amanda Knox, 24, kept prison diaries, the newspaper reports. In addition, her former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito , who was also cleared in the killing of Meredith Kercher, is said to be preparing to sell his own memoir. During her interview, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” cutie explained the drama surrounding her hubby Lamar Odom’s trade from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. “Lamar was upset that he was a trade in general. Lamar is very emotional. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He was with the Lakers for 7 years. He won two championships with them, the first Laker ever to win sixth man of the year.” “And he said it’s like going to a new school, getting new classmates, a new teacher, it’s just- everything is new. Bobby Brown has issued a new statement concerning his daughter, updating fans concerned over the mental and physical state of 18-year old Bobbi Kristina. “My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better,” the singer said today. “We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected.” Not long after Whitney Houston died on Saturday, Bobbi was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles; she was then transported there again , this time on a stretcher, about 24 hours later. Panic attacks and overall anxiety were cited as the reasons for both visits. The teenager, of course, will be in attendance at her mother’s funeral on Saturday. Sources say, however, that Bobby Brown is still fighting with his former in-laws in order to snag an invite himself to the memorial.

The pair, who started dating in early 2010 after the former split with her husband, then split in mid-2011, reportedly began seeing each other again recently. Enter the obligatory romance-rekindling Coldplay concert. A witness said of Cole and Hough: “They were really slushy. Family of Whitney Houston Releases Statement on "Unimaginable Tragedy"

About 24 hours after the death of Whitney Houston, the family of this once-in-a-generation singer has released the following statement: “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends.” Whitney Houston Isolated Vocals: “How Will I Know” Bobby Brown, Whitney’s husband of 15 years and the father of her daughter, has also spoken out for the first time, telling the public: ?“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston. At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi Kristina. I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.” It is believe that Houston died in her hotel room bathtub following an overdose of prescription pills. Child Bobbi Kristina, meanwhile, has twice visited the hospital since her mother died, being taken off on a stretcher earlier today due to overwhelming anxiety and stress, sources confirm.

Making a deeply saddening situation even worse, it’s being reported that recently departed singer Whitney Houston’s daughter has been rushed to the hospital following her mother’s passing. According to TMZ , 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles today (February 12). The report adds that Bobbi was removed from the Beverly Hilton Hotel – where her mother was found dead – on a stretcher after police and fire responded to a call for help. The previous night, Miss Houston’s only child from husband Bobby Brown is said to have entered a fit of rage with police officers guarding her late mom’s hotel room, as a source told People, “[Bobbi Kristina] was screaming, ‘What’s wrong with her? Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 18-year old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been rushed to the hospital. TMZ broke the news, reporting that a stretcher carried Bobbi out of the Beverly Hills Hilton today, the same hotel where her mother passed away yesterday afternoon. Insiders say authorities responded to a call there for a medical emergency, though no further details are available at this time. Tragically, Bobbi was in the lobby of the hotel when an ambulance arrived yesterday, screaming “What’s wrong with her? What’s wrong with her?” in regard to her mother, according to People . She was later taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center “because she was having a complete breakdown,” says that magazine’s source. This hospital visit, however, appears to have stemmed from a separate incident. New reports indicate that Houston was prone to taking Xanax prior to shows or major public appearance.
