Jennifer Lopez: Naked in New Fragrance Ad
Jennifer Lopez is making a very strong case for why consumers should purchase her latest perfume, “Glowing.” A very strong, naked case, that is. The American Idol judge has stripped down entirely in order to promote her 18th fragrance – yes, seriously, her 18th ! – which is comprised of bergamot, cypress and mandarin, among other flavors, and which goes on sale in May. “Glowing is such a clean fragrance,” J. Lo told WWD . “That’s what I’ve always been about… At the essence, it’s still natural, earthy, clean and real, but a little different side of that. It’s the woodsy side of it, which I think is kind of New York-y, darker and sexier.” Let’s be honest: that sounds like complete and utter hooey. But we may need to pick up a couple hundred bottles, if only to encourage more naked Jennifer Lopez ads in the future.

Simon Cowell may not have offered Beyonce $100 millon, but he made it clear in a recent interview that he’d love for the former Destiny’s Child singer to sit at the judging table on season two of The X Factor . We wonder if he’d settle for another ex-member of that group, however. Speaking to CNN this week, Kelly Rowland – who served as a panelist in Great Britain – made it clear she’d embrace the same role here on Fox. “It would be awesome to be a judge over here for The X Factor ,” the artist said . “I really enjoyed my time over in the U.K. being a judge. That was a great opportunity and a great experience, and I would love to do it again.” But is Rowland a big enough name to help Cowell boost the ratings of a series he swore would outdraw American Idol ? Courtesy Coty Jennifer Lopez ‘s skin sure is glowing in her new fragrance ad — we know, because we can see it all. The sexy singer and American Idol judge strikes a daring pose — in the buff — for her new fragrance ( her 18th! ), Glowing. “Glowing is such a clean fragrance,” she tells WWD of the scent, a follow-up to her first fragrance, Glow. “That’s what I’ve always been about. I like soapy, clean smells. This is a very woodsy scent. So it’s not exactly what I created 10 years ago — it’s the evolution of that.” Describing Glowing as “earthy, clean and real,” Lopez says the fragrance is “kind of New York-y, darker and sexier.” It contains notes of cypress, orange flower, cassia flower, vanilla and cashmere musk, and as a special treat, the eau de parfum bottles light up for 15 seconds when spritzed. “We’re in the history making business, baby,” Lopez says, laughing. Jokes aside, Lopez hopes that this is another fragrance that will last. “I always feel pressure to create a great fragrance — I always want it to be so special, this one especially because of Glow. Chris Brown: Probation Update
Back in 2009 he was arrested for beating up his then-girlfriend Rihanna and sentenced to probation and community service, and earlier today (February 10) a judge ruled that Chris Brown would need to remain under the supervision of a probation officer. According to a report, the “Kiss Kiss” singer has completed his requirements thus far, but the judge in his case wants to see more good behavior before lifting his probation. And though Brown wasn’t present at the hearing, his lawyer Mark Geragos argued that Chris “has made great strides” in reforming his behavior and should be cut a break. From here, Mr. Brown will need to finish the other half of his 180 days of community labor before the court will consider cutting his probation short.Photo Credit: Getty Images

Halle Berry Fleeing U.S. Due to Death Threats?
Halle Berry does not want to move to France with young daughter Nahla and fiance Olivier Martinez to spite Gabriel Aubry – she fears for her life, according to reports. TMZ reports that Halle is motivated by security in asking a judge for permission to move to France with Nahla – something Gabriel Aubry is trying to block. There have apparently been serious threats to Halle’s life – from one man in particular – and she feels the move out of the country is a life or death situation. Robert Hoskins, a mentally unstable man, escaped from a mental institution last week and has made threats against Halle, specifically to “slit her throat.” Hoskins threatened to slit Madonna’s throat in the past and was actually shot by her bodyguard in 1995 after he trespassed onto the pop star’s property. As if that weren’t enough, another stalker who recently trespassed onto Halle’s property multiple times in the past has just been released from jail. Halle is particularly concerned because Starmaps and some Hollywood bus tours literally take tourists to her doorstep, and it freaks her out. The actress is also concerned that Gabriel Aubry , Nahla’s father, is parading in front of paparazzi almost daily and possibly putting her at risk. She’s looking for a change of scenery, and Halle Berry is hoping to move to France where she’ll live with her boyfriend Olivier Martinez . The only problem is that she wants to take her daughter Nahla with her, and Berry’s ex-boyfriend/babydaddy Gabriel Aubry is doing everything he can to prevent it. According to a report from TMZ , the “Monster’s Ball” babe has filed papers with the court and a hearing is pending, but it won’t be easy to get the judge to allow her to take her daughter to another country. Symone Black Auditions in Hollywood, Falls Off Stage
Give American Idol credit for airing a legitimate, soap opera-esque cliffhanger last night. Or lament the show for exploiting what could be a serious injury to a 16-year old girl. Either way, the competition concluded its first set of Hollywood auditions not with a high note, but with a thud. Literally, as Symone Black was talking to the judges about why she selected “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay” when she took a couple uneven steps and then… WHAM ! She fell off the stage and crashed to the floor. Cue the credits and fade to black as producer Nigel Lythgoe called for a medic. Was this great television?
