Taking some time to pose for pictures, Emma Stone and Paul Rudd attended the Film Independent & New York Times live reading of “The Apartment” on Friday (April 27). The event was held at TheTimesCenter in New York City, and “The Amazing Spiderman” actress looking stunning in a Louis Vuitton top adding a hot red lip to spice things up, while the 43-year-old actor looked handsome in a grey suit and checkered tie. They were joined by fellow actors Jason Sudeikis , Jason Reitman, Tom Cavanagh, Cara Buono, and Greta Gerwig for the live staging, where the “I Love You Man” actor played the role of CC “Buddy Boy” Baxter that rents out his pad to a guy looking to bring home random girls. First, to remove all the makeup, and then again to really give my face a good scrub,” she tells the New York Times’s T Magazine . “I like to get it clean at the end of a workday using a good hot towel.” To maintain a clear complexion, Wilde often goes without makeup — “In order to give my skin a rest,” she explains — and indulges in an occasional facial. She also swears by Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer. But when she is going glam, the Revlon spokeswoman starts with the brand’s Colorstay or PhotoReady Foundation, “with a little moisturizer for a light look,” she shares. Another must? “I’ve been using the new Revlon Lip Butters on my lips,” she reveals. “They’re so moisturizing.” One surprising beauty fact: the actress doesn’t tweeze her eyebrows. “I’ve been letting them grow in for years,” she says. “I try to fill them in wherever nature has abandoned me. Landov For a star like Jessica Chastain , who only became a household name a year ago, adjusting to fame is still a bit difficult. “The red carpet takes a while to get used to,” she tells the New York Times’ T Magazine . “The photographers, the yelling aspect of it. But I get to wear something very beautiful.” In fact, for her very first red carpet — the Cannes premiere of The Tree of Life (above) — she got to wear three beautiful things: a custom Zac Posen gown and what she calls “the best accessories — Sean Penn on one hand and Brad Pitt on the other.” Though the Zac Posen gown is now safely tucked away — “I cleaned it and stored it for a daughter someday,” she shares — there have been dozens of equally gorgeous gowns since. In fact, the actress admits she built a closet in her garage to hold all of her new goods. Life wasn’t always so full of fashion, though. “Growing up, a big expense was a fashion magazine,” she reveals. “I got $100 for clothes at the beginning of the year, and I had to be very careful about what pieces would last — I bought thrift and vintage.” And though these days Chastain is buying older items on purpose — recent purchases include a pair of antique earrings found in London and custom-made hats from a Parisian atelier — she’s not looking to her past for style inspiration. “I was awkward,” she admits. “I looked like a boy when I was 8 years old — lanky with short red hair.
