Etching her place in Tinseltown history, Jennifer Aniston was on-hand while being prsented with her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday (February 22). The former “Friends” star took to The W Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard locale while being honored with the 2,462nd star on the famous stretch of sidewalk. Among those in attendance to pay tribute to Miss Aniston were comedian Adam Sandler and her “Wanderlust” castmates Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hahn, as well as her dad, John Aniston, and co-star beau Justin Theroux. Amber Portwood: Turning Down Plea Bargain to Continue Filming Teen Mom?

Troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is considering NOT taking a plea deal because it would effectively end her reality TV career , according to reports. Amber is supposed to be released from jail into the care of a halfway house this week after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance. She may end up changing her plea, however, so she can continue shooting Teen Mom as much as possible, sources tell E! News . Why on Earth … Portwood, who faces up to five years in jail if she violates probation, is not going to change her plea because she wants to sit in a cell instead. It is true, though, that the drug court that’s allowing Portwood to rehabilitate at the halfway house has ordered the facility not to allow cameras. For Amber Portwood , this is a very big deal. Last week, she said she had been under the impression that she would be allowed to live with her grandparents and film Teen Mom while fulfilling the terms of her sentence (counseling, regular check-ins with the court, etc.). Being ordered to a halfway house caught her by surprise. In order to stay out of jail, she was ordered to spend eight months at the halfway house and get a full-time job … one that does not involve TV. The third season of Teen Mom is set to premiere April 3, so that would leave Amber SOL and without the paycheck she’s come to depend on. As such, Amber decided Saturday that she may rather “do her time now and get it out of the way,” and the halfway house is “not the right place for her.” It wouldn’t be the full five years, presumably, if she did agree to serve jail time. We are probably talking about a couple of months, tops. After which, she would be free to film, without stipulations. “The system doesn’t want Amber to succeed,” a friend said. “She needs to stay in the entertainment industry. There are no jobs in Anderson (Ind.). She needs to finish her schooling. She can’t do all of that with a $7-an-hour job.” Baby daddy Gary Shirley currently has custody of her daughter, Leah.

According to Us Weekly , Britney Spears has reached out to Simon Cowell and The X Factor producers in order to campaign for spot on the season two judging table. If Britney’s name is really in the mix, it would be included with other famous ones such as Beyonce, Pink, Fergie, and perhaps the most likely candidate, Janet Jackson . Looking to find a place of their own, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Jason Statham were spotted apartment hunting in New York City earlier today (February 22). The “Transformers” star and her “Killer Elite” beau made their way around the SoHo neighborhood of the Big Apple as they checked out a few swanky high rises in hopes of finding place to call home. The day’s outing comes shortly after Ms Huntington-Whitely attended the Burberry Autumn/Winter 2012 fashion show during London Fashion Week. Of the runway happenings, Rosie told press, “I mean I love London Fashion Week. It took meeting someone who “dressed like a tiny lady — pantsuits, heels, lots of makeup” to inspire her to experiment. “I had never seen myself made up before. I didn’t want to wash it off,” she says. “I felt like I had one day to live this fantasy of being a glamour girl.” Years later, she’s trademarked a kind of Gaga -on-Prozac look: wigs, mega lashes (“When I don’t have my lashes, I feel naked,” she says) and a whole lot of color. And while the majority of her wacky looks are custom made by Japanese designers including Shojono Tomo , Minaj is not unfamiliar with brand names. Lindsay Lohan: Doing Awesome at Probation!

Lindsay Lohan, model citizen? Never thought we’d see the day. The actress is kicking arse and taking names in the probation department these days. She got another glowing report from the judge overseeing her case this morning, and in one more month, could fulfill her requirements at last. Judge Stephanie Sautner gushed, “You seem to be getting your life back on track!” Sautner was impressed that for the third time in a row, Lohan completed her required community service and therapy sessions, saying “You’re in the home stretch !” By March 29, she must complete her final 14 days of community service at the L.A. County morgue, and five more therapy sessions. If she stays on track, it’s over. Well, mostly. Lindsay would then be placed on informal probation, meaning all she has to do is obey all laws … okay, not a guarantee by any stretch of the imagination. Still, sources close to Lindsay say that while she was no fan of Sautner in the beginning, she now realizes that without her, she never could’ve turned this around. It was Sautner who decided she needed structure and rode her hard every month, even throwing her in jail here and there if need be, until she got the message. It’s working. Lindsay realizes the only reason new opportunities have surfaced – hosting SNL , starring in the Liz Taylor movie – are because people trust her again. Keep it up, girl. Looking stylishly chic, Katherine Heigl stepped out for lunch in Beverly Hills, CA on Tuesday (February 21). The former “Grey’s Anatomy” star wore a tan jacket over a similarly colored shirt tucked into dark flared jeans with nude pumps. Enjoying the midday meal with her mother, the 33-year-old spent about two hours at the Bouchon Bistro, after which she was seen hugging and talking to a woman while she waited for her valet car at the restaurant. In her most recent film, “One For The Money”, Miss Heigl portrays an unemployed and recently divorced woman who lands work at her cousin’s bail-bond business. As for her upcoming gig with the remake of the 1979 film “Mad Max,” it looks like Charlize won’t be sharing any scenes with the movie’s original star Mel Gibson. Mel told press, “Nope. I’ve got nothing to do with it. [Director] George [Miller], he’s filming in Namibia or something. It would be fun to fly to Namibia and be a snake in the background or something. The “N***as in Paris” rapper strolled around outside the Somerset House in between runway shows, sporting a white top, white jacket, and jeans. In business news, Kanye’s charity spent $572,383 in 2010, but reported a whopping $0 in charitable contributions, program activities and initiatives.
