Courtesy Coty; Inset: Mark Humphrey/AP Married for 15 years, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have often seen their country careers intertwine, never moreso than when they joined forces on the Soul2Soul tour in 2000. Inspired by that moment in time, the pair just released a set of his-and-her fragrances, aptly named Soul2Soul , available in stores now. “We’ve both had great careers, and this is sort of a third, joint career in our minds,” McGraw tells PEOPLE. “Even after 12 years, the name just seemed sort of synonymous with us, who we are, what our fans know us to be.” Though the fragrances are obviously quite different — Hill’s includes notes of Georgia white peach, princess rose, cucumber and sandalwood, while McGraw’s has white pepper, oak tree, saffron, cilantro and musk — they are united by one ingredient, the everlasting flower. “It’s a little yellow flower, and if you smash it into your fingers it has a very distinctive scent,” Hill explains. “We chose to include that in both fragrances.” Working together on the scents (prior to Soul2Soul, the stars each had their own ) was easy for the couple: “Whatever Faith said seemed good, so I went with it,” McGraw jokes. But in reality, the singers turned to their three daughters, Gracie, Maggie and Audrey, for some help. “They were not shy about giving their opinions,” Hill shares, adding that the girls often wear both of their parents’ scents. “They’re very hands-on.” Fans are always happy to share their opinions, too, often telling the stars they’re wearing their scents. “It’s cool,” Hill says. “We never take for granted when someone spends their hard-earned money to buy cologne, a concert ticket, a CD, whatever it is they lay their money down for.
