Why Justin Timberlake Prefers to Be Bald

Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Justin Timberlake hasn’t always been the stylish man he is today — and he’s the first to admit it. “There were many moments in my teenage years where I succumbed to, um, the weirdness of the group I was in,” the singer tells  Details in reference to his *NSYNC days. “And in trying to conform — we’re marionettes! — I ended up looking like a moron.” Although the Friends With Benefits star favored a curly blond mop during that TRL era, currently, his favorite hairstyle is the total opposite: “A shaved head,” he says. “It’s scary the first time you do it, because you don’t know what’s under there — you could have some weird knot — but a shaved head is just so easy.” Not so easy? Timberlake’s tooth care routine. “I broke out my Sonicare two years ago, and my dentist is way more complimentary now,” he says. “And some Crest Glide floss, with the Scope mint. You gotta clean your gums, man. Talking about it makes me want to floss right now.” His facial hair upkeep is a bit less involved, however. “The one trick that works for me is to keep the mustache above the lip trimmed neater,” he explains, “so I really don’t have to worry about the rest of it. That changes everything.” Find more of Timberlake’s grooming tips on Details.com . Guys, tell us: What’s your morning routine like? Tyler Perry Studios Damaged in Fire

A four-alarm fire ripped through Tyler Perry’s Atlanta studio lot, the home base for his various TV and movie projects, the Atlanta Police Department said Tuesday. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported in the blaze. Per Atlanta’s Channel 2 Action News, firefighters managed to extinguish the flames by around 10 p.m. but continued to battle various hot spots into the night. At least one building on Perry’s 30-acre lot had partially collapsed. According to reports, among the structures within the 200,000-square-foot Tyler Perry Studios are a 400-seat theater and numerous sets and sound stages. There’s no word yet on the full extent of the damage or what may have caused the blaze. The Madea’s Witness Protection director opened the lot in 2008. In 2011, Kim Kardashian was in town for her role in The Marriage Counselor , and Perry hosted a March fundraiser for President Barack Obama at the studio. Perry has also been in the news lately for his comments on the Trayvon Martin case and racial profiling, saying he personally has been profiled due to race.

Chris Evans & Chris Hemsworth Say “Good Morning America”

Kicking off the week with a promotional appearance, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth were spotted at “Good Morning America” today (April 30). The “Thor” hunk and the “Captain America” stud were in the house to plug their new film “The Avengers,” set to hit theaters in the USA on Friday, May 4th. It opened internationally this past weekend and scored a whopping $178 million so far. When asked if there were any ego wars on the set, Evans explained, “There was room for that to happen but it never did, thankfully. I give a lot of credit to (Robert)Downey (Jr)- he’s kind of the father of this group. If he hadn’t done so well with those “Iron Man” movies I don’t think this movie would’ve happened.” Hemsworth also noted that he loved having a bunch of stars on board for the film. “I think we all preferred it… when you do your individual film, the responsibility rests on your shoulders. Whereas this, you get to share the workload and I’m happy to do that any day.” video platform video management video solutions video player Photo Credit: SplashNewsOnline.com

Shailene Woodley Covers ASOS June 2012

She’s fresh off of a career-igniting past twelve months, and Shailene Woodley has been selected to cover of the June 2012 issue of ASOS magazine. The 20-year-old actress looked elegant in an ASOS Denim Shirt with Rare Crochet Lace Knickers and ASOS Mixed Frame Cat-Eye Sunglasses for the Jason Nocito shot front page while opening up about topics such as her penchant for dark roles and the criticism she received over her Oscars dress. Highlights from Miss Woodley’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to ASOS ! On not paying attention to fame and fortune: “I don’t pay any attention to all of that stuff. I never have. I know nothing about the industry, nothing about the ‘business’ and I intend to always be that way. There are more options coming in for me [since The Descendants], but that really doesn’t affect me, because I will never do a movie I’m not passionate about. I’d rather be in a two-minute scene in a phenomenal Meryl Streep movie than the lead of an action-hero film.” On her penchant for dark roles: “Movies are where my heart is at. I love dark roles – roles that appear scary. Not in a horror film way, but like ‘Black Swan’ or ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’. Films that take the audience on an emotional journey. And I would love to play Patti Smith in a film one day – I’m re-reading her autobiography, I’m obsessed with it.” On criticism of her Valentino Coutore Oscars dress: “A lot of people didn’t like it. They were like, ‘she’s 20, she’s covering herself up, why is she doing that?’ But to me it felt classy and elegant and that’s what I think of when I think of the Oscars. It felt simple and elegant and it still represented who I am. Most of my clothes come through friends – this cardigan is two years old and these jeans are my friend’s boyfriend’s.” On what the future holds: “I’m excited to become a bada** archer. I want to be able to shoot a small pen dot on the wall, 20 feet away. I want to be like [The Hunger Games'] Katniss.”Photo Credit: Jason Nocito for ASOS
